BLOCKX LIQUID AMBER
This secret of the Flemish Masters of the 15th and 16th centuries was rediscovered about 1860 by Jacques Blockx. Liquid amber gives oil colours - with which it can be mixed in any proportion - the brilliance, finesse and strength of tone that no other preparation could offer.
Eight to ten grams of liquid amber suffice to varnish one square metre. Superbly packed in a burette, equipped with a wax sealed cork. Graduated burette, 10ml or 25ml. Price per piece.
