BONE GLUE SIZE
Also known as Scotch Glue. The origin of all glue is an adhesive based on animal proteins (skin, bones etc.) Bone glue is less elastic than rabbit skin glue and is mainly used for modelling compounds. Glue preparation: Soak 70g of dry glue in 1 litre of water for about 24 hours and allow to thicken. Warm in a water bath at below 60ºC and process the glue rapidly. Note: A higher temperature weakens the adhesive. Supplied in granules. Available in 500g bags. Price per bag.
