CALIGO SAFE WASH ETCHING INKS

From Caligo, an oil based etching ink suitable for printing techniques such as copperplate, etching, aquatint, mezzotint etc. In contrast to other water dissolvable printing inks, this range is oil based and have similar characteristics to traditional oil based etching inks. These inks can be washed off easily with soap and water, so there is no need for expensive or harmful solvents, which make this product ideal for schools and colleges. Caligo Safe Wash Etching Inks are highly light resistant and have a high pigment loading. There are 17 colours available and all are intermixable with each other. Included in this range is an extender which can be used to alter colour transparency and make your inks last longer. All tones are available in 75ml tubes (except ultramarine) and 250g tins, with 6 of the most popular colours in 500g tins. Price per tube or tin.
