Black, hard. Contents: Judée bitumen and wax. Opaque, matt and dough-like. The etching ground is wrapped in a piece of taffeta, which works as a kind of filter. Intended for applying to pre-heated metal. Dab on evenly. The black matt appearance makes the needle worked areas stand out well.
