Colouraplast - small, transparent, coloured polystyrole nuggets, which must be melted in a metal or silicon form in your oven at a temperature of approx. 190-200 degrees in order to create sleek decor panels. You can also create transparent coloured decor pictures such as flowers, stars, dogs, horses, dolphins in special wire forms, which can be hung in a window as 'sun catchers' or for small mobiles as room decorations. It is a fascinating idea to make small mosaic stones out of this material that are melted in heat resistant silicon forms in your oven into really unique mosaic pictures. This is a fantastic creation that is also quite popular in the field of creative arts because you can also design window pictures artistically with it. Colouraplast is manufactured on the basis of polystyrole and is a completely non-toxic plastic and does not release dangerous vapours or gases while handling. Finished parts made of Colouraplast (e.g. bowls, tins etc) comply with food safety regulations. Colouraplast complies with regulations as specified under EN71.
IMPORTANT:
Parents or other authorised persons should place and remove the metal melting forms from and into the oven if children work with this material. Hot melting forms may cause burns.
