From a company with centuries of tradition. In 1795, Nicolas-Jacques Conté improved the quality and the production techniques of pastel leads, which had been used since the 14th century by Italian artists. Since this development, many artists and great masters like Delacroix, Degas and Picasso have chosen Conté à Paris pastels for drawing or painting. These pastels are ideal for sketches and for monochrome or multicoloured detailed drawings. All types of paper and cardboard are suitable as backgrounds. It is recommended that these Carré pastels (6mm x 6mm x 65mm) are sharpened or shaped with either a sharp knife or sandpaper. Only available in packs of 12 pastels, arranged by colour. Price per pastel.
