COVERING FOIL

Polyester resin that has been poured into a mould hardens to a sticky finish on the open upper side and has an uneven elephant skin appearance. This calls for a lot of sanding on the finished article in order to achieve a smooth and transparent top surface. This work can be avoided if a covering of foil is laid on the still-liquid resin; following hardening, the foil can simply be removed from the smooth edge of the moulded article. Size 14cm x 22cm. Available in packs of 6 foils.
