Oil-free, lightfast, wipeable, mixable and for use with water – these pastels are highly adaptable. The pastels adher particularly well to drawing paper - from rough surfaces to those with a ‘tooth’; and velour paper too. Interesting effects can be created by intermixing the colours. Using a light application of fixative is advisable. Cretacolor pastels offer good quality at an affordable price and consequently are widely purchased by art schools. 72 colour tones.
