GERSTAECKER GESSO PRIMER

White, high quality acrylic chalk primer for preparing textile and hard surfaces for painting. Water soluble, solvent free, light and age resistant. Gerstaecker Gesso gives a slightly rough surface after application due to its high absorbency. Gerstaecker Gesso can be overpainted with Gerstaecker ’Acryl’ acrylic paint as well as being suitable for oil, other acrylics, gouache and watercolour. If so desired, Gerstaecker Gesso can be diluted with water and applied in more than one coat. If this is the case we recommend allowing at least 2-3 hours between coats. Available in 1 litre pots and 5 litre buckets.
