GERSTAECKER GLASS PARTICLES

The balls, nuggets and flakes are made from a special optical glass and have anti-static properties. The consistent quality such as equal particle size and accurate roundness is an important advantage to obtain a defined result, e.g. planning and obtaining a specific layer thickness. The particles can be added into Gerstaecker mediums. However, the most interesting effect is achieved by adding particles to colourless crystal-clear gels (e.g. Lascaux Impasto Gel 1) or mixing the glass particles into high-transparency acrylic paints (e.g. Liquitex Heavy Body). Alternatively, the particles can be dispersed directly onto wet acrylic paint. The paint thus interspersed with glass results in surprising and interesting reflected structures throughout, therefore the colour appears deep and brilliant. Available in 500g pots.
