GERSTAECKER NOVA JACK PRESSES

1. All presses were conceived as table-top models.
2. The 620 (10014) and 720 (10017) models are of particularly sturdy, robust design and feature toothed reduction gears, on both sides in the case of the 720 model. The gears are made of extra strong steel and the printing run of an iron slab 18mm thick.
3. Whilst the heavier 620 and 720 models are fitted with extra strong iron-slab printing runs, the smaller presses, models 440 and 540 are fitted with steel printing runs.
4. All the jacks run on rolls or self-lubricating bearings, consequently there will be no problems with worn bearings.
5. For the greatest ease of use, the print run is operated by horizontal rollers.
6. The width of the printing passage for the paper is about 2cm wider than the printing run.
7. Heavy, treated cast iron sides and solid construction allow all common printing techniques to be practised, including sheet aluminium prints.
A distinctive feature for all four of the Nova models is that the upper rollers are not carried on pressured springs but are rather hung on the printing spindle. Gerstaecker Nova Jack Press 440
