GERSTAECKER STUDIO 1 STRETCHED CANVAS
This Gerstaecker Studio 1 Stretched Canvas standard range offers a great variety of stretched canvas sizes to suit most individual requirements and avoid the need for more expensive made-to-order canvases.
Choose from 50 rectangular and 10 square sizes. All Gerstaecker Studio stretched canvases have a tightly stretched canvas, medium weave 100% cotton, wrapped over the frame. The canvas is treated with a semi-absorbent universal primer. Suitable for oil, acrylic, gouache and tempera painting. Canvas is also available in rolls.
The Gerstaecker Studio stretcher frames are hand-made using top quality seasoned pine. Each stretcher is 2cm wide. From lengths of 80cm a centre support section is utilized to stabilise the frame. From 80cm x 80cm, both vertical and horizontal frame supports (i.e. a cross support frame) are used. The weight is 380 gsm.
The frames can be tensioned using hardwood wedges since the frames are neither stapled nor glued in the wedge slots. Price per canvas.
