HAHNEMUEHLE HAND-MADE WATERCOLOUR BLOCK

Natural white, neutrally sized, acid free, lightfast and of archival permanence, bound on four sides. Classic choice, authentic hand-made water colour paper. Rough and Matt Surface: 200g/m2. Extra Rough Surface: 230g/m2.
The irregular structure lends water colours a greater graphic relief effect. Fast brush strokes on a dry surface give an only partially continuous paint covering. White ‘speckles’ in the deeper recesses of the paper give a picture a delightful impression. With the wet-painting technique, the deeper points on the paper lead to the opposite effect, with a consequent colour strengthening. Price per block.
