This heavy, voluminous water colour paper’s appeal lies in its irregular, interesting surface structure, outstanding stability and excellent flatness retention. Paints are rendered strong and brilliant, with optimum paint-flow characteristics being particularly evident for the wet-in-wet technique. Full, rich brush strokes are easily obtained with dry painting techniques. The rough quality with its coarse-grain structure is particularly suitable for large scale work.
