JAPANESE BRUSH - SAKUYO

Original, artists quality, traditional Japanese paint brush for doing line work. The brush has a short head and good snap and pointing. This means it is easy to change the width of the line during painting, making the line come alive. Despite a high water-carrying capacity it is relatively easy to regulate the amount of water. It is well-suited to water colour and silk painting and also for brush drawings. Hairs from sheep and sable (weasel). Brush length 21.7cm, brush head 2.6cm long, Ø 0.9cm.
