Steam-fixable silk paints by the firm Kreul. They are environmentally friendly, easy to use and economical. The Avantgarde silk paint is based on the selection of high quality, biodegradable pigments/dyes. The paint is water-based with a significantly reduced alcohol content (maximum 2%), which means it has a pleasant odour. The paints are intermixable, and can be thinned either with thinner or with water. Avantgarde is lightfast, and withstands washing and dry-cleaning. It preserves the natural suppleness and sheen of the silk.
