JAX INK SHELLAC INK

Jax Ink is a shellac-based pigmented ink which provides high performance at low cost. It is suitable for calligraphy work, nib and brush drawings, shading of large areas and washes using a brush. Jax ink has good flow properties, does not blob and produces sharp edges. All shades are suitable for smooth and rough drawing paper, for card, handmade deckle edged paper and Ingres paper; also adheres very well to tracing paper and (non-greasy) film.
Jax Ink is waterproof on drying. The black ink provides even coverage with high performance. When diluted with distilled water, different shades are produced for light-dark effects. The coloured shades consist of pure pigments, are half transparent and intermixable. All colour shades are available in 50ml jars, and black is also available in 250ml bottles.
