LASCAUX GOUACHE PAINT

Designed both for the professional artist and art student. Classic tempera paint with velvet matt finish. They are richly pigmented, giving high intensity, luminosity, purity, depth and resistance to fading. For most purposes it should be thinned with approx. 50% water (2 parts paint, 1 part water) and remains water soluble after drying. Nevertheless, each layer can be painted over without affecting the colour quality (delayed water solubility). All shades can be mixed together. One of its merits is their minimal colour shift from wet to dry. Lascaux Gouache has good covering power, but colours can also be built up in layers. It does not run when another layer is added on top. As a ground, absorbent surfaces are the most appropriate such as paper, card, wood, plaster and modelling clay, but the paints can also be used on glass and plastic.

The colour chart shows the 31 shades available in 85ml and 500ml bottles. The nozzle top design allows greater control when dispensing the paint. Price per bottle.
