Lascaux Studio Artists’ Acrylics has recently been expanded by the introduction of 8 new colours. The colour intensity and purity of the existing colours have also been improved. These universal well-established professional quality acrylics are extremely versatile and suitable for all techniques on virtually any support in art, design and for decorative applications. Additionally, the sophisticated colour scheme has consistently outstanding working properties such as good covering power, satin matt finish and uniform luminosity. Lascaux Studio are very viscous, highly concentrated and have great covering power. They can be used straight from the bottle or thinned with water and can be applied to almost any grease free surface. Lascaux Acrylics are made from lightfast pigments and especially selected pure acrylates. They are water resistant and have optimum resistance to both ageing and weathering. Lascaux Acrylics always dry to a uniform matt-satin finish and can be overpainted in any way without loss of colour or gloss. With their consistent opacity, they are also simple to use for monochrome designs. On solid or flexible supports and according to the desired degree of absorbency and texture, we recommend Lascaux primer and Lascaux modelling clay. Lascaux Studio can be used with Lascaux mediums for all techniques: from deep matt to high-gloss glazes, from velvet finish to textured impasto. The Lascaux Studio range of 49 opaque colours is available in handy dispenser bottles that keep the paint fresh for several years.
