Modern, fast-drying artists’ acrylic can be used as concentrated colour (or diluted with water) and dries to a waterproof finish. Highly versatile from the finest glaze right up to palette knife technique or impasto work.
Lukas CrylPastos has a butter-like consistency with a high solid content of approx. 70%. Only pigments with the two highest grades of lightfastness are contained in these acrylics, namely those denoted by ∗∗∗ and ∗∗. The high quality pigments are carefully chosen and used unmodified.
A pure acrylate dispersion serves as the high quality binder, favouring water evaporation and allowing colours to dry rapidly to a highly flexible film. This film dries glass-clear, is resistant to acid and alkali and does not yellow.
The majority of the colour tones contain pigments that permit a brilliant glaze. 70 colours are available in tube sizes 37ml or 200ml. Some colours are available in 500ml pots. All may either be used straight from the tube or diluted with water. Price per tube / pot.
