MODELLING WAX
There are two different waxes: Yellow (soft modelling wax), Brown (hard sculpture wax):
Modelling wax yellow (62069/900): soft wax ideal for modelling softens at 60 ° C and hardens in the fridge. Before use the wax must be kneaded until it malleability and when you are finshed it gives very precise and detailed forms. Copper wire is necessary for the manufacture of frames and steel spatulas for stability. The wax can be softened in hot water in to a liquid for the uses of modelling small sculptures.
Sculpturing Wax Brown (62069/901): hard wax. In a water bath the wax can be worked by hand with a spatula, it softens at 60 ° C and hardens in the fridge. The use of white spirit can be used to smooth the surface. The Sculpture wax is popular with modellers, jewelers, sculptors and foundries.
