Well known by Art Schools for the liveliness of its 60 colours and its surprising concentration, Pebeo Colorex watercolour ink is a reference for all professional illustrators and designers who appreciate its light, velvet finish and its perfectly uniform flat colour. Highly concentrated, Colorex watercolour ink withstands heavy dilution with water. It can be used pure or diluted according to the intensity required. Heavy weight paper is recommended when using these inks. Any paper under a weight of 180g wrinkles easily when wet. Colorex opaque white lightens the various shades and extends the range towards pastel tones. Silver, rich gold and pale gold colours are generally used pure. To achieve masking effects, use Pebeo Drawing Gum. Like all inks, Colorex is sensitive to ultraviolet rays. To prevent illustrations from being damaged, use a protective solvent-based UV absorbent varnish. 60 colours are available in a 45ml bottle with a nozzle, 57 colours in a 250ml bottle and 28 colours in a 1 litre bottle.
