PLASTILINE - GREY

Professional product for numerous applications, whether production of sculptures, restoration or cast moulding. Oil-based modelling clay, is clay powder mixed with oil and wax instead of water. Its advantages over water-based clay, or potters clay, is that it stays workable for long periods of time, instead of drying and shrinking. Plastiline can be softened by hand, with a heat gun or hairdryer. The clay hardens in a fridge, retaining its strength and leaves no residue whilst drying. The clay keeps its shape and doesn’t deform after modelling due to its excellent stability. Plastiline can also be painted with acrylic paint. Available in 2 colours, 2 different weights and 5 different degrees of hardness.

Hardness Grades:
40 = very soft (39 - 41ºC)
50 = soft (48 - 52ºC)
55 = standard (52 - 56ºC)
60 = hard (56 - 58ºC)
70 = very hard (58 - 60ºC)
