PONGÉ SILK

White, fine quality. This silk is ideal for silk and water colour painting and also for batik. It is available in lighter (No. 5 = approx. 20g/m²) and medium weight (No. 8 = approx. 32g/m²) qualities. With the lighter quality the paints appear particularly transparent and hazy due to a lower colour absorbency, whereas with the medium weight silk they appear strong and luminous. Only sold in full metre lengths.
