Thanks to their superb quality Rembrandtoil colours enjoy an excellent reputation world-wide. The outstanding brilliance/luminosity is a feature of all shades and this can only be achieved with a high level of purity of the pigments and other raw materials used in their manufacture. The highest possible pigment concentration and the fact that they are ground extremely finely means that all the colours have maximum colour intensity.
As regards lightfastness Rembrandt oil colour is unique. All 120 colours have the highest degree of lightfastness (+++). They can be mixed with each other extremely well. Each shade has its own formula which guarantees a high level of stability and quality.
The range of colours is well-balanced: there is equal distribution over different colour groups and a good balance between opaque and translucent colours. Furthermore there is a range of special products such as genuine cadmium paints, permanent madder colours and glossy metallic colours.
All 120 colours are available in 40ml and 15ml tubes. The 5 most frequently used shades of white are available in 60ml tubes. In addition the most frequently used colours also come in professional size 150ml tubes. Price per tube.
