This product was developed in close co-operation with the company Schmincke & Co. The pigmented ink’s main feature is the high colour brilliance and luminosity. All 15 shades are intermixable and can be diluted with water. It dries quickly and is then waterproof, largely smudgeproof and difficult to erase or remove with adhesive tape. For a drawing ink it has good lightfastness. The wide range of applications of this ink regarding techniques and surfaces should be emphasised. It can be used with nib and brush for calligraphy or painting and of course can also be used for sharp-edged drawings on drawing paper/card, on tracing paper and on matt-finished polyester transparencies/films. As with all liquid pigment colours, the ink should be shaken briefly before use. The shades given in the colour chart are available in 50ml and 250ml bottles and also in 12ml dropper bottles.
