A leading UK art materials supplier based in Alton is currently looking for a full time Customer Service Representative to join their dynamic customer service team. GreatArt is the English subsidiary of the successful German based Gerstaecker Group.
We are looking for someone with the ability to process sales order data and, ideally, who has a background in serving the public. You must have good phone handling skills; be accurate in administrative routines; able to meet demanding deadlines; and willing to handle diverse administrative tasks. You would be required to process orders by web, phone, post , fax and email, forms and applications. You would constantly strive to provide good customer service, listen to the customer's suggestions / feedback and pass them to the relevant department and obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle enquiries and complaints and resolve them promptly and efficiently. You will also be required to communicate and coordinate with other internal departments (Purchasing, IT, Marketing). Your role is sales oriented.
You will be a team player who will be working in the customer service team of an ambitious multi-channel retailer.
Salary: £15,500 - £17,000 (DOE) plus bonus scheme offered.

Online Marketing Copywriter / Assistant
A leading UK art materials supplier based in Alton is currently looking for a full time Online Marketing Copywriter / Assistant to join their dynamic marketing team. GreatArt is the English subsidiary of the successful German based Gerstaecker Group.
You will be a critical thinker who is dynamic and positive; your initiatives will contribute to the success of the team and the company. Excellent organisational skills are critical to the role. A background in marketing, copy writing and a good knowledge of art supplies is essential, accompanied with a relevant degree or equivalent qualification (e.g. CIM, IDM). The ability to communicate in German is desirable but not compulsory.
Your missions will consist of:
- Write and rewrite products descriptions
- Write features and articles for our magazine
- Community Management
- Uploading articles, images, marketing copy to the website.
- Occasionally respond to customer requests, researching and troubleshooting any problem with online orders or navigation.
- Increase our customer experience online.
- Coordinate with suppliers.
- Execute web change requests on time and accurately utilising CMS.
- Use HTML coding to create elements for web promotions.
- Follow the established marketing plan and calendar.
- As well as taking care of online marketing activities you will also be required to undertake ad hoc marketing tasks within the department.
- Maintaining database standards and increasing its potential.
- Responsible for the coordination and adaptation of printed promotions with web activity:
o Creating product pages.
o Categorising products.
o Animating pages.
o Emailing campaigns.
You will be a team player who will be working in the web department of an ambitious multi-channel retailer.
Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 (DOE) plus bonus scheme offered and 20% discount.
