Schmincke has extended its acrylic colour concept with the Akademie Acryl extra heavy body, a coloristically balanced range of spectacular, extremely pasty and smooth shades for all types of structured, palette-knife and collage artwork.
All 24 shades in this extra heavy body version of Akademie Acryl extra heavy body are exceptionally brilliant and dry to a silky sheen, crack-free surface - even in thicker layers - while keeping the structure. They form coloristically a very harmonious range. The special advantage of all colours is the ideal combination of extreme pastiness and smoothness, which can only be achieved through special formulation.
Akademie Acryl extra heavy body colours can be worked with palette knives and brushes and, thanks to their high adhesion, are also suitable for collage work and other effect additions such as glass beads, chips and much more. Akademie Acryl can be applied on a variety of different clean surfaces. Acrylic papers are only recommendable from a certain weight of 450g/m2 upwards.
