SCREEN PRINTING GAUZE

The finer the mesh on the gauze, the sharper the print, but there is also an increased danger of unwanted mesh-ink effects. For use in schools, gauzes with 61 and 90 thread ratings have proven effective. The following tips should be referred to for use in schools:
Before stretching and securing the gauze across light metal frames, the frames should be thoroughly cleaned, de-greased and slightly roughened with steel wool. Before using the screen, a suitable rinsing agent and thick perlon brush should be used to remove all grease and the nap should be slightly raised.
 
Available in nylon quality with 61 threads per cm = 0.103mm² mesh size.
This is somewhat bigger than other fine meshes obtainable, but is cheaper than finer meshes available on the market. The danger of mesh areas matting with ink is also reduced with our offering. Width approx. 105cm. Available only in whole metre lengths. Price per metre.
