STEACOLL SOAPSTONE ADHESIVE

This special glue was designed for gluing soapstone; patches will be invisible. The parts are carefully covered with the glue and pressed together. After a pre-reaction time of 10-15 minutes, any surpluses must be removed with a soft cloth. The bond needs to dry for approx. 6 to 8 hours and will then be cured. Then the bonding surface is worked by grinding, polishing or rasping, so that the breakline becomes invisible. It dries transparent and will not be visible on the soapstone. By rasping it, the patch will be covered with the fine soapstone powder, respectively a small amount of the material will be worked into the joint, making it invisible. Curing is finished after 8-12 hours. Available in 50ml bottles and a 250ml tub.
