SUMI-E INK SET

Japanese ink set in an elegant wooden box with everything required for the traditional Sumi-E drawing technique. The set contains 3 different sized looped bamboo brushes (6mm, 7mm and 10mm diameter), a Japanese natural slate rubbing stone for inking (size 7.5cm x 13.5cm), Japanese rubbing ink (size 2cm x 9cm), decorated with gold characters, a small plastic water bottle (approx. 20ml), as well as a 9cm long dragon-shaped brush support. Natural coloured, clear-varnished box with strong brass hinges and a carrying handle. The lid can be folded upright to form a brush stand. This would make an attractive gift!
