With a milky transparent structure, this is a classical material for plastic sculpturing. It can be worked in the same way as soapstone, but is more resistant when using manual tools than soapstone. It is therefore to be recommended more for sculptors and leisure artists and less for schools. Advantageous, compact shapes are available.
