WINSOR & NEWTON ARTISTS PICTURE CLEANER

This is a liquid cleaning medium which loosens oxidised linseed oil on oil paintings and thus simplifies their cleaning. It is made of an emulsified mixture of Copaiba Balsa, Orange Turpentine and Balsam Turpentine Oil with liquid ammonia. As this mixture separates, the bottle must be shaken vigorously before use. Cleaner should be applied undiluted and on a small area at a time. Remove excess cleaner before re-varnishing. Available in 75ml and 250ml bottles. Price per bottle.
