WINSOR & NEWTON ARTISTS' SOFT PASTEL SETS

The Artist’s soft pastels were developed by Winsor & Newton according to the requirements of artists from all over the world and represent a high-quality range of soft pastels. They have maximum luminosity, excellent softness and a uniform consistency. The strong luminosity of the soft pastels was achieved by using only the purest and highest quality pigments with the highest pigment strengths. Where possible, only a single pigment was used. All pigments are in accordance with lightfast factor AA, the greatest lightfast qualities or A. There are over 200 different tints available in the Artists’ soft pastels range. The colour range was developed on the basis of 39 full tints (tone 4). Each full tint is available in three lighter tints (tones 1, 2 and 3, of which 1 is the lightest) and 1 darker tint (tone 5). Two white and black tints and one grey tint are also available. The artist can therefore choose from a large selection from the lightest to the darkest tints. The size of the Artists’ soft pastels, Ø 12mm, length 65mm, ensures ease of use and a very soft application of colour. The soft pastels are individually wrapped and have exact colour labelling, a colour number and tint number. They carry the symbol "AP Non-toxic". The soft pastels are available individually and in attractive sets and cases.
