ARTIDEE® | Creartec Dipping Rust — 500 g, 500g
ARTIDEE® Creartec Dipping Rust is ideal for coating delicate objects (rose petals, decorative items, polystyrene…) to create extraordinary decorations and gifts.
After dipping, a thin layer of real rust, which changes colour as it dries, forms. Depending on the thickness of the coating, drying takes approximately 4 hours. You can immerse objects directly in the ARTIDEE® Creartec Dipping Rust or alternatively apply the medium in multiple layers with a brush. The colour is initially grey, but after a short time it takes on the typical brownish rust colour.
Treat the objects to be immersed beforehand with adhesive medium (see item code 49885) - either by dipping or painting with a brush. As a result, the ARTIDEE® Creartec Dipping Rust adheres firmly to the object during further processing. To avoid further colour changes, protect the surface with a matt drying antioxidant finishing spray (see item code 49889).
This product is also ideal for painting over large objects such as statues, garden gnomes, angels, buddhas etc.
