This da Vinci Silver Pen Traditional Watercolour Brush has very fine extremely absorbent squirrel hair making it particularly suitable for creating surfaces and for fine detailed work. The filament brush hair releases colour slowly and very evenly. The heart of the brush is a metal tip at the end of the handle, made of an alloy called Ethergraf®. On contact with paper it oxidises leaving a mark on the paper that cannot be erased or smudged.
TIP: The silver point is ideal for preliminary drawings of oil paintings on canvas. In contrast to pencil or ink, this does not show through or smear later
