GERSTAECKER Cellulose Adhesive Powder CMC 45 is a cellulose-based binder powder for making gelatine glue or thickening acrylic paint that you have made yourself using pigments.
In addition to the preparation of size paints, this powder forms the body for most acrylic paints, where it helps to delay the settling of the pigments. GERSTAECKER Cellulose Adhesive Powder CMC 45 is also ideal as a binder for children's paints, as it is physiologically completely harmless.
This GERSTAECKER Cellulose Adhesive Powder CMC 45 is a special type for colour applications and has a number of specific application advantages:
- Depending on the content of glue powder, the glues can be produced from thin-bodied (11/2-2%) to thick-bodied (3-4%) to almost paste-like (from 5%) consistency. Both thickening and re-dilution are possible without any problems.
- The glues and colours have maximum consistency stability, so it is practically impossible for the set and desired consistency of a glue to change dramatically due to any external influences.
- The glues and colours flow very smoothly for a glue.
- The tub content of 330 g makes an average of 10 litres of glue or 15 litres of paint.
The delivery is made in a polyethylene tub with a measuring cup.
