GERSTAECKER | Crackle Paste — for acrylic

Gerstaecker Crackle Paste is a ready-to-use, fine, white, highly absorbent acrylic paste for crackle effects. It can be coloured with acrylic paint or painted over once dry.

Apply Gerstaecker Crackle Paste on its own or mixed with (max. 30%) acrylic paint with a spatula or broad brush on a grease-free surface. Ideal supports are solid and rigid materials such as wood, hardboard, or very tight canvas.

This product is sold in various sizes and is comprised of pure acrylate dispersion, fillers, additives, water.

Gerstaecker Crackle Paste - application tips:

• application test recommended.
• do not use below 12°C for either the object or room temperature.
• close container immediately after use.
• store in a cool and dry place.
• protect from frost.
• clean tools immediately after use with water or water and soap.

TIP! — In order to achieve ideal adhesion, it is advisable to prime the support with 1-2 layers of Gesso. If you want to design surfaces that dont have cracks everywhere, you can fill in these parts with light structure paste. The paste resembles the crackling paste in consistency and appearance, but does not crack.
