MAIMERI OILYN is a semi-gloss amber-coloured medium for oil painting. It consists of thixotropic alkyd resins (15%), mineral spirits and thickeners. It improves fluidity and increases the transparency of colours without altering their consistency.
This medium also softens brushstrokes. It is easy to mix, using either a brush or palette-knife. MAIMERI OILYN can be used instead of oil, when glazing or overlapping colours. It increases the flexibility of subsequent layers of colour.
TIP! Increase the amount of Oilyn as you proceed with glazing.
MAIMERI OILYN is sold in 75 ml and 250 ml bottles.
