Gerstaecker Artist Junior Stretcher Frames are coated with an easily-absorbent universal primer, making them suitable for various painting techniques such as oil, acrylic, gouache, tempera etc. The stretchers are made of light but sturdy wood. Up to 30 x 40 cm frames the stretcher profile is 16 x 24 mm, then it is 16 x 29mm for the 40 x 40 cm and 50 x 70 cm frames. The 50 x 70 cm frame has a cross support for stabilisation..

These Gerstaecker Artist Junior Stretcher Frames offer excellent value for money. The canvas is stapled on the back. Wedges are supplied for later tensioning if required.
