This Speedball Akua Wiping Fabric Roll is perfect for wiping ink into the grooves and removing excess ink from the surface of all types of intaglio plates.
Speedball Akua Wiping Fabric is less absorbent and smoother and softer than tarlatan, reducing the possibility of over wiping the image area on the plate. Yet, it is absorbent enough to wipe the surface area clean. As a result, prints have good contrast, fine detail, rich saturated colours and smooth solids without streaking. Speedball Akua Wiping Fabric is made from polyester which makes it strong, durable and lint-free. Speedball Akua Wiping Fabric Rolls are 10 yards long x 19 inches wide (9.1mtrs x 48.26cm).
