GreatArt is a part of the Gerstaecker family who has been supplying art materials for over 50 years.
The company's initial customers were therapy centres that used art in all its forms to improve the quality of life for those with disabilities. Today, artists from every walk of life benefit from the Gerstaecker specialist ability to source and supply the finest art materials available.
The Gerstaecker head office is based in Eitorf, Germany, a small town to the east of Bonn. This is also the location of the company's ultra-modern 215,000 square foot distribution centre with a state-of-the-art warehouse, where almost 60,000 different products are stocked ready for dispatch to artists all over Europe.
The Gerstaecker company sends out 55,000 parcels per month and serves 500,000 customers throughout Europe, with subsidaries in 9 countries.
Still very much a family business, Gerstaecker prides itself on the experience and expertise of its managers and staff whose specialist knowledge of the art supplies industry helps to ensure the efficient operation of Europe's most comprehensive and competitive one-stop shop for quality art materials.
Gerstaecker UK Limited - trading as GreatArt - began in 2002 in Alton, Hampshire in the heart of Jane Austen Country.
After trading online for over 15 years, GreatArt opened it's first UK store in the heart of Shoreditch, London. The arrival of the 8500 square foot store brought a new artist's hot spot to East London, ready to be a part of the city's lively art community.

From the moment we take your order, to the arrival of your parcel on your doorstep, we do our best to look after you!
Place your order with confidence
Place your order online, or if you prefer dial 0300 303 4224 and a member of our friendly sales team will take your order over the phone. We can also confirm stock availability or do our best to answer any questions you may have about your order or the products you wish to purchase.
Picking and Packing your Order
Once we confirm you order, your parcel will be personally picked, checked and packed at our state of the art warehouse by a member of staff.
Once packed your order is passed to our courier and we aim to deliver all parcels in 7-10 working days. If you have registered an email address with us you'll receive a tracking email once your order is dispatched so you know when to expect it.
