Assistant Store Manager

Job Description
Oversee daily store operations and ensure optimal performance.
Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction and boost sales.
Train, mentor and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
Manage store inventory and ensure product availability.
Implement promotional activities to drive store traffic and increase sales.
Handle customer complaints and issues professionally and in a timely manner.
Ensure all store activities align with the company's policies and procedures.
Prepare detailed reports on buying trends, customer requirements, and profits.

A successful Assistant Store Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in retail management or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and customer management abilities.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Excellent knowledge of retail management software.
  • A passion or knowledge of arts and crafts would be ideal
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
