Awagami Factory® Kitakata Japanese paper is a very high quality, tear-resistant Washi paper which is ideal for lithography, calligraphy, watercolour, pastels, bookbinding and restoration etc.

All Awagami Factory® papers have very typical features that offer the painter, printer or calligrapher numerous possibilities. This Kitakata Japanese paper is a cream coloured 36 gsm paper handmade from 90% gampi and 10% wood pulp. Sheets measure 43 cm x 52 cm and have 4 deckle edges. They are double-sided, having one smooth side and one fine grained. Awagami Factory® Kitakata Japanese paper is pH neutral.
