Key to symbols
BOTZ Classic Liquid Glazes have a rustic character and are very productive: 800 ml corresponds to approx. 1.4 kg of stirred powder glaze.
These BOTZ Classic Liquid Glazes tend to run but this gives amazing and surprising effects - use in combination with other glazes, using the BOTZ Classic Liquid Glaze as a top coat. If the glaze has been open for a while and dries just add a little water and stir vigorously. TIP: apply BOTZ Classic Liquid Glazes in very thin coats.
For almost all BOTZ Classic Liquid Glazes the ideal firing temperature is 1050° C. They are lead free and contain no hazardous substances in quantities that would require specialist labelling. Stir well before use and apply with a bristle brush on dust and grease-free surfaces in very thin coats, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next. Allow the glaze to dry thoroughly before firing, ideally for a day. BOTZ Classic Liquid Glazes can be diluted with up to 25% water if required.
BOTZ Classic Liquid Glazes are available in various colours in 200 ml and 500 ml tubs.
Please note: colours Summer blue (350) and Champagne (526) are NOT suitable for items of crockery or china that will be used for eating or drinking:
