Cernit® Polymer Modelling Clay N° 1 is an opaque modelling clay with a porcelain-like finish. Once kneaded the dough is simple to shape, stretch and model.
Baking:
- bake the clay between 110°C (230°F) and 130°C (266°F) in a traditional oven for a maximum of 30 minutes.
- odourless when cooked.
- does not crack.
- do not use a microwave oven.
- after cooking, the clay is hard but can still be worked (sanded, painted, etc.)
Due to the use of an oven Cernit® Polymer Modelling Clay is not recommended for children under 8 years.
This wonderful clay does not dry out. Once baked the clay remains solid but flexible. Odourless and pleasant to work with, it remains infinitely malleable. It does not rub off; neither on the hands nor on the tools. All colours are mixable to create your desired shade.
This product is ideal for creating jewellery, reproductions, miniatures, figures etc. Always work the dough with clean hands on a previously cleaned surface. Knead the dough to make it more flexible before being worked. It can be sculpted, moulded, printed or used with other materials such as stones, pearls, feathers etc. and additives such as glitter, alcohol ink etc. can me mixed with the dough before baking.
This product is available in 56 g blocks and some colours are also available in 250 g and 500 g blocks.
