The CREARTEC ARTIDEE® Encaustic Hotbrush consists of small wires that are tied together like a brush and have excellent heat distribution.

This brush is ideal for applying small amounts of encaustic paint to draw broad lines, leaves, cloud effects and much more. To use: attach the brush to your encaustic pen and heat it. Dip it into solid, coloured encaustic wax to load it, then apply the molten wax to your surface with gentle, consistent strokes.

TIP: The wax will cool and harden instantly, allowing for immediate layer building. Fuse each layer with a heat gun or torch for a smooth glaze, and fuse subsequent layers by dragging the brush and then fusing again.
