Eli-Chem Resins Cell-Base Instant Cell Creator is a specialised pigment used in resin art to self-activate and create puzzle-like cells and lacing without needing additives like silicone, dimethicone, or alcohol.

The product is mixed directly into clear resin (up to 10%) and poured exclusively as the base colour layer. Contrasting top colours are then swiped or dragged across it, causing the base pigment to chemically react and emerge upward to form interlocking cells.

  • free from silicone and alcohol, ensuring it leaves no oily residue or surface dimples on your cured artwork.
  • co-developed alongside Eli-Chem's Master-Cast 1-2-1 and TotalCast clear artwork resins. Other resin brands can be used, though variance in viscosity, density, and curing speed will alter the final cell structure.
  • designed to work best with high-density paste pigments (such as resi-TINT MAX) used for the top layers. Acrylic paints, inks, powders, and metallic pigments do not interact effectively with the formula.
  • can be safely applied over canvas, wood, MDF, glass, perspex, concrete, and metal

For the formula to remain active, you must work at a steady, uninterrupted pace, as the pigment rapidly loses its chemical reactivity once exposed on your canvas
