The Fimo Leather-Effect Tool Box is the perfect addition to tools and accessories for modelling and working with Fimo leather-effect products: you have everything together in one box with this comprehensive set!

Fimo Leather-Effect modelling clay is an oven-hardening compound which can be modelled and processed in a similar way to Fimo soft. Once hardened, the modelling clay has a leather-like look and feel.

In contrast to other oven-hardening types of Fimo, Fimo Leather-Effect modelling clay is hardened at 130° C for 30 minutes. After hardening thinly rolled out panels are very flexible and pliable. These can be cut, punched out or sewn with scissors. This makes the modelling clay ideal for modelling unique jewellery such as earrings, necklaces or bracelets. In addition, Fimo Leather-Effect is wonderfully suitable for making home decorations with a leather effect.

Contents of this Fimo Leather-Effect Tool Box:

  • 1 x block of 42g (white)
  • 5 x blocks of 25g (black, ivory, rust, berry, indigo)
  • 1 x stamp set with 88 characters and handle
  • 1 x perforating wheel
  • 1 x modelling tool set (consisting of 4 different tools with 8 different heads)
  • 1 x step-by-step instructions
  • 1 x resealable box with handle

Tips:

To vary the leather effect: the more firmly you press the modelling clay together (e.g. when rolling it out), the more likely it will be a "smooth leather effect". If you pull the mass apart slightly by hand after it has been rolled out, the leather structure changes into a “rough leather effect”.

Fimo Leather-Effect has so-called self-adhesive properties, i.e. when you put two Fimo parts on top of each other, they "stick" together. Adhesion is improved by pressing and spreading. Thus you can place two colours on top of each other to achieve different colours on the front and back. Glasses or cans can also be coated very easily and Fimo adheres to them.

Colours can be mixed with each other: by turning them slightly into each other wonderful marbling effects are created. Patterns and colour blends are also possible.
