Hahnemühle | Toned Watercolour Books — individual

These Hahnemühle Toned Watercolour Books were inspired by urban sketchers. They contain 30 sheets of the finest watercolour paper, tailored to the requirements of watercolour painting on the go.

The tinted paper offers a natural background colour. The 200 gsm watercolour paper has a fine-grained texture on the front and back. The surface sizing allows colours to be easily lifted and masking pencils, adhesive tapes and erasers can be used without leaving any residue. The fine and firm linen cover protects the contents from moisture and dirt. A colour-coordinated elastic band keeps the book firmly closed.

Hahnemühle Toned Watercolour Books at a glance:

  • finest watercolour paper
  • grey or beige tinted pages
  • acid free & age resistant
  • 60 pages (30 sheets)
  • 200 gsm
  • fine-grained
  • fine linen cover
  • elastic closure
  • available in landscape and square formats

Tip! The toned papers allow focus to be on the motif, as a natural background colour is already given. In addition, the toned pages minimise the sun's reflection so sketching outside is more relaxing.

I liked it! The colour of the brown-toned paper is warm, and not too dark (milky coffee, perhaps?)
The paper takes watercolour satisfactorily and doesn't crinkle too much when wet. The paper is smooth enough to take ink very well. The book opens flat. The cover is durable and stylish.
It's good as a notebook to carry around.
Will re-order.
